North Cobb Celebrates International Membership Month in Style

The Rotary Club of North Cobb celebrated Rotary International's Membership Month in style, by welcoming four new members on August 8.
- Lisa Montcalm serves as a Sergeant in the Office of
Professional Standards with the Acworth Police Department. She wanted to join
Rotary to, “form professional connections and relationships which will allow
(her) to serve others in a more efficient and meaningful way and to provide a
liaison between the Acworth Police Department and The North Cobb Rotary Club to
better coordinate service to the community.”
- Neimar Oliveira, is a Business
Executive Technical Manager from Jacarei, Brazil. There, he and his wife were
both members of their local Rotary Club. Mr. Oliveira found North Cobb Rotary
on Facebook and is excited to be back in a club. North Cobb Rotarians are
excited to practice their Portuguese.
- Virginia “Jenny” Jones is a financial advisor with Edward
Jones Investments in Kennesaw. She believes in supporting our military and
providing aid to victims of domestic violence. She joined Rotary to “enjoy the
company of like-minded, service-oriented people and partner with the community
to make a difference.”
- Jonathan Jenkins of JRM Management applies his
talents to marketing many local events including North Cobb Rotary’s Smoke on
the Lake BBQ Festival. Jonathan joined the club to, “help the local community
grow and prosper.”
