North Columbus, Quitman and Vinings Cumberland Adopt Parts of Their Communities
The Rotary Club of North Columbus was glad to be a part of Adopt a Family at Rigdon Road School! As Rotarians, we love any opportunity to get involved & give back to our community. Vinings Cumberland Rotarians dropped off 50 gifts for the young children at La Amistad for the after-school participants; many are ESL kids and some of club members volunteer to tutor them.The Rotary Club of Quitman spent a chilly but worthwhile morning picking up litter on the club's adopted two-mile stretch of SH37 north of Quitman. Eighteen big bags were collected. "Don't Mess with Texas!"
