The Rotary Club of Douglas County recently enjoyed hearing from students who attended RYLA - an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary where young people can develop leadership skills while having fun and making connections. This year, the club sponsored four students to attend RYLA in June on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus Three of the students attend Douglas County High School: Hannah Byssainthe, Amelia Hasan, and Ronzell Mullen. Tiffany Grier attends Lithia Springs High School. Hannah and Tiffany attended the meeting and answered questions about their experience. Hannah enjoyed it so much she plans to volunteer as a counselor at RYLA in the future!
