Lake Spivey/Clayton County and Atlanta Crescent Clubs Partner to Help Good Shepherd

The Good Shepherd Clinic received a grant from Rotary International through the Rotary Club of Lake Spivey/Clayton County. The grant was for the purchase and distribution of medical and other supplies. This grant purchased a centrifuge, an otoscope and an ophthalmoscope.

Rotarians from the Atlanta Southern Crescent Rotary Club and Lake Spivey/Clayton County volunteered to work at the Good Shepherd Clinic. We were able to help with the Health Fair and with Market Days. We cleaned prescription pill bottles, and worked at the front desk, did some filing and answered phone calls.

The Clinic uses recycled pill bottles, so if you have any pill bottles that are empty and have the label removed, please get a bunch together and mail them to Chelsea Folds, Good Shepherd Clinic, 6392 Murphy Drive, Morrow, GA 30260 They would be very much appreciated.

The pictures show the purchases from the grant and some of the activities that Rotary was involved in at the Clinic.
