Paws, Claus, and Applause: Buckhead Rotary Serves Pets in Need

15

The Rotary Club of Buckhead closed out the year with a festive, service-filled holiday meeting that captured the spirit of Service Above Self. Members came together to pack 100 treat and toy bags for cats and dogs at the Fulton County Animal Shelter, sharing laughter and fellowship while supporting some very deserving four-legged friends. The meeting also featured the holiday spirit with live music from member Drew Amerson, joined by Ty Tippet for a spirited singalong of “Jingle Bells.” A surprise visit from Santa (Buckhead Rotary member Jim Coleman), traveling all the way from the North Pole Rotary Club added to the excitement and smiles throughout the room. The LifeLine Animal Project sled, with the help of Rudolf to guide their way, transported the donations to the Fulton County Animal Shelter, ensuring the toys and treats reached pets in need. A paws-itively big thank you goes to Kari Kirkley for organizing the toys and treats for our furry friends. The energy in the room reflected the generosity, creativity, and passion that define Buckhead Rotary, making this gathering a memorable way to end the year.
