The Rotary Club of Peachtree City is proud to announce the successful completion of a new Sensory Path for its grant recipient, Camp Southern Ground. The project, aimed at enhancing the therapeutic amenities of the campus, will serve veterans, campers, and families who utilize the facility.
The installation of the Sensory Path was originally estimated to be a six-hour labor-intensive project. However, in a display of remarkable efficiency and teamwork, Rotarian volunteers rallied to complete the entire installation in just two hours.
The expedited timeline provided an immediate benefit: veterans and their families visiting the campus were able to utilize the new path that very same afternoon.
"I am incredibly proud of our volunteers for getting the job done so quickly," said Chavdar Zradkov, President of the Rotary Club of Peachtree City. "To take a project estimated for six hours and finish it in two speaks to the dedication and work ethic of this club. It was a joy to see the path ready for use immediately."
This initiative directly supports the vision of District Governor Steve Ivory and his focus on supporting "Service Heroes." By enhancing the facilities at Camp Southern Ground, the Rotary Club is directly serving the military and veteran families that the camp supports throughout the year.
