North Cobb's Mountain Top Boys Home BBQ Continues 38-Year Tradition

For nearly four decades, North Cobb Rotarians have upheld a cherished tradition of traveling to North Georgia to serve the Mountain Top Boys Home with a delicious, home-cooked barbecue. This annual event not only brings together members, their families, and the local community, but also celebrates a long-standing commitment to supporting the restorative care provided by the Mountain Top Boys Home.

Founded to care for young boys who, through no fault of their own, have become residents of the agency, the Mountain Top Boys Home offers a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. Daily life is organized in a family-style setting, guided by dedicated professional staff and compassionate house parents who provide mentorship, counseling, and support to help each boy grow and thrive.

This year’s gathering was marked by great food, beautiful weather, and a shared sense of purpose for over 120 people continuing a meaningful legacy of service, fellowship, and community impact.
