GRSP Weekend Update
30 Days Until We Welcome the World

On February 10, we're expecting the 39 students of the GRSP Class of 2022-23 to join us for a weekend filled with fun, fellowship and learning. We need your help to deliver the quality experience that GRSP classes have come to expect over the last 20 years.

Thanks to those of you who have agreed to host students for the weekend; we still have 5 or 6 openings for host families. We also have opportunities to help with set-up registration, a group service project, and dinner on Friday, snacks and lunch prep onsite for Saturday, helping Jennie, Carter or Cathie Brumfield as they host group dinners Saturday night, or help with snacks and clean-up on Sunday morning (all done by 1:30 or 2 pm). There will be sign-up sheets on the table this Friday morning, and you may contact Jackie Cuthbert directly if you have questions or a particular idea for volunteering.

Golf Tournament Update
Have You Seen Our New Sponsor Package?

Last Friday we introduced the amazing sponsor package produced in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association for our May 15, 2023 FORE the Memories Golf Tournament. We are hoping you will share it with everyone who might be interested in sponsorships for the tournament. To make that easy, we've added the document to our Resource library - you can click on 2023 Fore the Memories Golf Tournament Sponsor Package to take a look, download to share with friends or businesses, and even take a look at what you might like to do to sponsor this major fund-raising event.

Keep the Good Work Going at the Dunwoody Nature Center - Monday, January 16

Happy Freed Christmas Fern!We did great work in 2022 restoring the forest, and are ready to continue on our base. Join us in the forest at the DNC on Monday, MLK day starting at 9:00 for some healthy exercise and fellowship. The DNC Volunteer Day this month has been moved to MLK Monday from Saturday and will return next month to its normal second Saturday.
The work will be light as we get ready for spring. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard last year to make our plot one of the prettiest in the forest. You can also see how the plants we put in are doing after our deep freeze. (Spoiler alert- they are natives, they are fine.) See you Monday at the DNC! Contact Cathie Brumfield 404 668 6693 with questions.

Rotaract Club of Bay County, Florida Set to Grow and Serve

Our own past RID Robert Hall couldn't be prouder of his grandson, John Robert Lovelace, Charter President of the newly formed Rotaract Club of Bay County, drawing from Florida State University's Panama City campus and the Gulf State College campus. This week is pledge week and the club is out to recruit new members.
