No Meeting This Week
Use the Time to Identify Guests for Next Thursday's Prospective Member Social

There's no meeting this Friday, May 20. That said, we hope you will all plan to attend next Thursday's "Prospective Member" event at the Spruill Art Gallery, 4681 Ashford-Dunwoody Road. Think about all the people you think would appreciate knowing more about Rotary and the prospects of becoming a Rotarian - and invite them to join us May 26 at 5:30 pm. And plan to come regardless of whether you bring guests - to help welcome our visitors and share your Rotary story.

There's a new exhibit at the Gallery, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, and we'll have a fine evening of food, fellowship and fun!

Plan to join us there and start planning your guest list now!

Service Opportunity
Let's Have a Crowd at Bounds Gardens This Saturday!

Last month, President Carter challenged us to show up in large numbers for the Bounds Garden Clean-Up; you did and we loved it! So let's do it again this Saturday - at 9:00 am in the traffic island across from the Dunwoody Library on Chamblee-Dunwoody. The more the merrier - and the quicker our work! Hope to see you there - bring your gloves and your favorite garden tool! Contact "Ranger" Fred Bounds if you have questions.

New Partnership
Dunwoody Partners with Spruill Center for the Arts

This Thursday, May 19, join us at the opening of a new art exhibit at the Spruill Art Gallery on Ashford-Dunwoody. The exhibit is sponsored by our own Rotary Club as part of our new partnership with the Spruill Center for the Arts. The opening reception runs from 6-9 pm and we'd love to have you there representing Dunwoody Rotary. Wear your pin or your Rotary shirt.

Matri-ARC highlights the work of 10 Georgia female artists, all at varying stages of their careers. The arc runs through the show as an allegory allowing the viewer to experience each artist at their point in the creative journey. The women ask different questions, seek different answers, and in doing so infuse their work with value, passion and life. All have claimed their own space allowing their work to evolve and flourish, creating a legacy of inspiration.

Watch for more information about our partnership with the Spruill Center for the Arts.

Golf Tournament Update
Great Day at St. Marlo!

We had a full complement of golfers, and many friendly hard-working Dunwoody volunteers and St. Marlo staff members who helped make our inaugural golf tournament a great day! Thanks for all your support! We will have more information to share on the financial success of the day - and many pictures to share - in another week or so.
