| | 1 Buckhead: Ty Tippett's KIND30 ChallengeRegister Ty Tippett has challenged the Buckhead Rotary Club to take part in the KIND 30 Challenge. It is simple and totally in keeping with the 4 way test of the things we think say and do! All you have to do is perform one act of kindness each day throughout the month of October. To sign up for the challenge, just read the pledge below and then register for this event. No need to print this out. The location is The Tyrone Museum at 881 Senoia Road, Tyrone, GA 30290. On-site registration opens at 7:00 am. The 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk/Run begins at 8:00 AM. The event will be held rain or shine

6 | 7 | 8 | 9 7p North Cobb: Volunteer: Women's Extension Dinner Volunteers needed to bring sides for 30 people, serve dinner, and cleanup. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you! The Extension is a faith based, 12 step, recovery program for both men and women. The residential program has Marietta facilities on Church St. Extension for the men and Holiday St. for women. North Cobb Rotary has provided dinner on a monthly basis for going on 15 years. It is a chance to get to know your fellow members in service as well as provide some encouragement for the men and women in recovery. Residents are required to gain employment during their residence and they receive counseling, job preparation and life skills in addition to the recovery process. This is an opportunity to get to know your members and be an encourager to these residents as they transform their lives.
